Abstract :
This paper firstly analyzes the methods of hydropower financing in China and the pros and cons of them based on the characteristics of China´s large-scale hydropower construction. And then author proposes that leveraged lease financing model can be used in hydropower projects´ equipment financing. In this paper, author describes the features of leveraged lease financing models, and elaborates how to use this model and its advantages from the perspective of both hydropower development companies and hydropower construction enterprises. On the basis of all-round analysis, this paper is to demonstrate there is ample room for the development of leveraged lease financing model and construction enterprises can take advantage of this model to seek new development opportunities for businesses.
