Abstract :
A robust watermarking scheme is proposed for digital images, which exploits the technique of block-based lapped biorthogonal transform (LBT). The proposed algorithm combines the LBT and SVD to strike a good balance between robustness and perceptual invisibility. Moreover, by applying a quantization scheme, the embedded watermark can be extracted without the cover image and the original watermark. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is robust against the general image processing and malicious tampering, and the watermarked image has a good quality.
