Abstract :
Construction is one of the most hazardous industries due to its unique nature. The safety records of construction sites are poor in China. Safety issues have gained vital importance throughout the construction industry. As a prerequisite to realize safety goals in construction sites, how to predict safety input and make a reasonable distribution is an important issue in the construction industry. This paper aims to find an appropriate method to calculate reasonable safety input. By analyzing the basic characteristics of safety input and using the method of input-output econometrics, the safety input is classified reasonably and an input-output model for construction enterprises is established. Based on the investigation to Huayu company, satisfied safety data, as a reliable reference, has been obtained from the input-output model. According to the data, each building enterprise can provide related safety input data to the government, enterprises and relative departments as an important foundation for future safety policy, and the enterprise may decide its operation policy and investment. In a word, it has strong practical significance.
