Abstract :
This paper investigates the influence of nonlinear amplification on the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. The behaviour of the travelling wave tube (TWT) and solid state power (SSP) amplifier is compared, with respect to the OFDM transmission scheme. The OFDM signal is also simulated with a linearized amplifier, using a predistortion technique with look-up tables
