Abstract :
We put forward a new blind equalization algorithm to erase the influence of the random start-up phase offset between the transmitter and the receiver. This algorithm can give an accurate estimation of such a phase offset, and its convergency and stability are better than any other algorithms presented so far. Computer simulation confirms that it works very well with a large phase offset, especially in multi-level QAM systems.<>
