Abstract
An enhanced means of linearizing an RF power amplifier by dynamically varying the bias conditions and power supply voltage of the amplifier used within a Cartesian feedback linearization system is presented. Simulations of such a system show improvement in spectral control and power added efficiency. By relaxing the need for the high level power supply modulator to be exact and avoiding the spectral expansion of polar feedback, better control is achieved over systems using polar feedback entirely for the linearization process and as a means of achieving high efficiency
