Abstract :
Based on the selection of a two-dimensional signal constellation in the presence of phase jitter and Gaussian noise and the estimation of the characteristics of several fast speed equalization algorithm, the project of a single-tone HF high speed data modem using two Texas Instruments TMS320C25 digital signal processors is proposed. The project selects the 16QAM signaling format and a receiver employing a baseband decision feedback square root Kalman equaliser. A different function can be completed by loading a different software, making the modem multifunctional.<>
