Abstract
A new method to increase the linearity and efficiency of multicarrier power amplifiers (MCPAs) is described. The use of Cartesian feedback for intermodulation reduction is investigated, and it is shown that appropriate control over the feedback loop phase shift can result in substantial reduction in intermodulation over broad bandwidths. Simulation results show that unwanted intermodulation products could be suppressed by 10-30 dB
