Abstract
Time division multiple access (TDMA) and code division multiple access (CDMA) are two standards proposed to meet the expectations of future personal communications systems. Both standards were extensively simulated for the suburban environment. The simulation models for each standard are detailed. Performance is compared based on voice quality and bit error rates resulting from the simulations
