Abstract :
It is difficult to extract the motion information between the camera and the object surface with the model matching or the optical flow method when there is only texture structure on the object surface for observing. Arranging the spatio-temporal images with the time order and cutting the images array along a row or a column, a spatio-temporal slice image appears. Different camera motion reaches different slice image and the camera motion information can be extracted by analyzing this kind of slice images. Differ from the common spatio-temporal slice analysis methods, a measurement parameter to describe the texture elements distribute density is present in this paper. Camera motion information can be extracted by analyzing this parameter in spatio-temporal slices of different positions.
