Abstract :
We discuss in this paper the design, fabrication and test of transmitting and receiving horn antennas based on elliptical apertures. Two prototype antennas have been fabricated, simulated and measured in the S and X band demonstrating the capability of this concept to provide low side lobe levels and good insulation levels.
