Abstract :
Fiber distributed data interface (FDDI) is a 100 Mbps local area network. This paper reports the results of a simulation study of variable bit rate video transmission across a FDDI network. The mean delay of the video image transmissions is investigated using the synchronous and asynchronous service modes and under various network load.<>
