  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the utilization of an original topology of dielectric resonator acting on whispering gallery modes for the design of filters for telecommunication systems applications. A miniaturized volumic two poles filter using two quarter cut resonators coupled to two microstrip lines is presented. Experimental elliptic filter has been realized to prove the efficiency of this new topology.
