Abstract :
Many researches which calculate the scattering characteristic of cylinder frequency selective surface (FSS) have been made. But, most of papers don´t provide the validation such as the comparison between the calculation and experimental results. In this paper, method of moment using both entire domain function of rectangular patch and cylindrical Floquet harmonics are studied for representing surface current distribution and scattering field. Both RCS and coupling characteristics are calculated as transmission characteristics of the cylindrical FSS. To validate the calculation of this paper, we performed the experiment to get the resonant frequency of the cylindrical FSS and compared with the simulation results. The measured performance was well agreed with the simulated one.
