  • Abstract
    The singular value is the main characteristic of the matrix. This paper introduces the specific method of separating signal using the singular value by the theoretical analysis of the singular value matrix. The exhaust noisy signal acquired by sound sensor was decomposed and reconstructed as the application of singular value decomposition in allusion to the character of the exhaust noise in the single cylinder dies. Based on short time Fourier Transform, the character of signal was obtained and it is provided a rationale on selecting the structural parameter of the muffler.
