Abstract :
Experiment of obtaining HPM pulse using Multi resonant cavities pulse compress setup is presented. The pulse compression system works at S band and the resonance frequency is 2.85 GHz. With a 10MW and 2.0 μs input pulse, the system can generate two pulses each with more then 100 MW pulse power and 10ns pulse duration, the energy efficiency has a range of 10%~30%, and the average energy efficiency is about 20%.
