Abstract :
Some formulas which are used for calculating the BERs (bit error rates) of coherent and noncoherent receivers for M-ary orthogonal signals in frequency-nonselected Rician slow fading channels are derived. There are also many numerical results given. Finally, the performance of a coherent receiver has been compared with a noncoherent receiver
