Abstract :
Construction of 3D special face model with 2D face photographs has become the focus of study on 3D face modeling, in which generated texture will affect directly the sense of reality of the 3D face model. Based on the details of texture mapping and image stitching, a method of generating global view texture images in 3D face modeling is proposed in this paper. Firstly, it obtains overlap regions by means of column feature matching and confirms the regions according to the grey values, and then stitches the images accurately; Secondly, it blends the texture with weighted smoothing algorithm to eliminate image mosaic gaps; Finally, it tries the classic Laplacian pyramid method to get a new global-view face texture image, which makes the texture image more realistic and natural.
