Abstract :
A scientific and rational method for supplier selection is one of the most important parts in supply chain management. In this paper, a new model based on entropy technology is presented and applied in China telecom industry. First, this paper establishes an index system of supplier selection for telecom operators. Then, a multiple criteria decision-making model is given by using entropy techniques. Finally, this model is applied in telecomm industry. The result shows that this method is very effective for telecomm operator´s equipment supplier selection.
