Abstract :
Due to the nature of projects that the Advanced Technology Centre of BAE Systems typically undertakes, the rapid design and development of the software-intensive embedded systems needed to support the research, demonstration and deployment of our technologies is important. This paper describes our approach for the rapid deployment of system-of-systems. Our development and deployment of a decentralised wide area surveillance system is provided as an exemplar of this methodology.
