Abstract
With the increase of steam turbine unit capacity, the upgrading of the operation steam condition and the operation requirement of the grid on the unit, there has been a much higher requirement on the automation level of the steam turbine. In order to satisfy the operation requirement of large units, it is necessary to expand the controllability of the turbine control system to improve the flexibility, adaptability and dynamic response. Here, the authors describe the development of the DEH-IIIA digital electrohydraulic control technology for electric utility steam turbine applications
