Abstract :
The authors demonstrate experimentally an optical PSK homodyne system. Using two 1551 nm semiconductor lasers as the transmitter laser and the local laser, a 80 Mbit/s "0101" signal has been transmitted and received by a balanced phase-locked receiver.<>
