Abstract :
A new type of fiber-coupled Fabry-Perot (FCFP) interferometers have been designed out, by which a much larger range of cavity lengths has been obtained. FCFPs, which contain free spectral range (FSR) from 20 GHz to 10000 GHz, Finesse up to 250 and insertion loss as low as 2.5 dB, have been built. The devices are piezoelectrically tuned.<>
