Abstract :
The effects of random polarization dispersion on soliton propagation in optical fibers are investigated numerically by considering the random rotation of the birefringence axes and the random fluctuation of the magnitude of the polarization dispersion. It is shown that with the correlation length of the random polarization dispersion increases, the effects on soliton propagation become more serious.<>
