Abstract :
To compare different difference schemes for the approximation of partial differential equations, one can analyse the dispersion behaviour of these schemes. This paper gives a dispersion analysis for several difference schemes for the solution of telegraph equations derived by Wavelet-Galerkin and Finite-Difference methods.
