Abstract :
Based on nanjing export and GDP data from 1992 to 2009, This paper uses cointegration, Granger causality test and impulse response to analysize empirically the relationship between export and economic growth. Then the results show that nanjing export growth and economic growth have long-term cointegration relationships, but export growth is not the cause of economic growth. So the paper proposes some policies and proposals to enhance the export role for economic growth.
