Abstract :
Novel periodic elements are presented to design narrow band and broadband frequency selective surfaces (FSSs) filters for Ka band (26.5 - 40 GHz) operations. The employed FSS elements combine slot and a cross slot elements providing for much greater design flexibility. All results demonstrate high transmission and excellent out-of-band rejection in the Ka band.
