Abstract :
Based on the traditional Entity-oriented spatial data model, such as Geodatabase, this paper propositions a new model for spatial data modeling in GIS system. Reference to the concept of component in the realm of software engineering, spatial data entity in GIS is abstracted with loose coupling and multi-spatial expression into several feature components for modeling. It is benefit for GIS upper application due to a significant spatial data structure. And eventually, the advantages of this model are introduced with detail.
