Abstract
Project selection problem is the core issue of the organizations. In this paper, the method of grey relational analysis for group decision making is applied to select the best project based on multi-granularity 2-tuple linguistic assessment information processing. The subjective judgement of decision makers is represented by means of linguistic variables. The basic linguistic term set is chosen from multi-granularity, linguistic term sets and the computational formulae are given to uniform the multi-granular linguistic assessment information into the normalized representation of the 2-tuple linguistic. Then the optimal project alternative is determined by calculating the linguistic degree of relative grey relational grade of alternative and positive ideal solution. Finally, a numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
