Abstract :
RSSI ranging technology is a low-cost distance measurement technique, featuring on low communication overhead and low implementation complexity, it´s very important to wireless sensor network with limited power. We analyze the theory of ranging based on RSSI, and designed the ranging experiment with the chip of CC2430, proposed the approach that beacon nodes determine the parameters and Gaussian fitting ascertain the value of the RSSI measurements ranging. Experiments show that the method can improve anti-interference ability, 20 meters ranging precision can reach 1.5 meters.
