Abstract
Workflow system is the most important business processing applications. Workflow modeling method and engine development are the hot research direction. Previous workflow modeling methods mainly focus on system states and state-transforms. They are not suit for real application developing. In this paper, we proposed a novel modeling method which is named ExWM (Extended Workflow model). By introducing user interface definition, ExWM can integrate user interfaces through business object state. In this way, each user interface is independent on others and can be designed, reused and updated easily. Real application designing example indicates that ExWM is effectual for developing business process systems.
