Abstract :
It is known that the polarimetric whitening filter (PWF) approaches the optimal detector (OPD) in the detection performance under both Gaussian and non-Gaussian clutter environments. A digital signal processor that consists of a four channel-high-speed A/D convertor, a real time double FFT processor (using the TMC2310 FFT processor) and a DSP56001-based CFAR detector. The hardware for the control of the TMC2310 with the DSP56001 and the software implementation of the motion compensation for binary integration are described in detail. A simple DSP56001 development system architecture is also configured.<>
