Abstract
The overall performance of the service control point (SCP), an element which is a part of the network information control system (NICS), an intelligent network architecture being developed by ETRI, is evaluated by simulation in order to check whether the system satisfies the real time requirements. The multithread scheme is presented for improvement of system performance and its effect is also analyzed.<>
