Abstract :
In this paper, we present a novel analytical model for recursive active microwave integrated filters. For a given value of the third order output intercept point of the amplifier used in the filters, we show how the values of the third order output intercept points of two different filter topologies are related to the Q-values of the filters. Also, for a given Q-value, our results show which of the two filter topologies should be used to obtain the lowest possible filter noise figure in combination with the highest possible filter third order output intercept point.
