Abstract :
In this paper, the design of the radiator subarray(RS) and the active channel block(ACB) were described. They are key units of the Ku-band active phased array antenna(APAA) system which receive DBS signal in moving vehicles. The noise analysis of the ACB was made according to the variation of two matching pads which was used to match the sub_units of the ACB and to tune a little gain difference between individual ACBs. Also, the experimental results of the RS and ACB such as the radiation pattern, linear gain, phase, noise figure performances were presented.
