Abstract :
In this paper, a Modified Bayesian Optimization Algorithm (MBOA) is proposed. It has been obtained by suitably introducing a mutation operator in the traditional algorithm in order to speed up its convergence. In order to test its capability, the introduced algorithm has then been applied to mathematical test functions and to a classic EM design problem.
