Abstract
Engineering consulting firms are knowledge-intensive. The knowledge management and sharing are extremely significant to their maintenance and improvement of comprehensive competitiveness, which is the prerequisite for the development of new business. This paper focus on the content and forms of knowledge sharing in those firms and finds out a framework which illustrates the positive effects that knowledge sharing has on the development of new business in engineering consulting firms.
