Abstract :
This paper aims to design pattern reconfigurable microstrip disc antenna with pre-defined rotatable beam according to the required application. In this study, we started from conventional disc microstrip antenna, then subtracting slit ring from antenna radiation surface hence controlling its resonance frequency value by controlling the width and position of the slit. The third step is to divide the antenna outer part into number of sectors corresponding to the required rotation angle to achieve reconfigurable radiation pattern.
