Abstract :
A procedure for analysing and designing microwave chaotic generators is described. The generators are based on frequency multiplier circuits and can generate chaotic signals up to millimetre wavelengths. The generators offer the possibility of developing chaotic radar and microwave communication systems with the advantage of using spread-spectrum techniques with resulting immunity from jamming and noise. Theoretical and practical results are given.
