Abstract
Since the high success of wireless communications and data services on the air interface, the introduction of multicast applications in wireless systems should be nearly achieved in order to offer a complete service kit for subscribers. At the beginning of the year 2000, all second generation systems will propose a high bit rate data service. Multicast services will be defined in an ulterior phase of the data service proposition. This article presents a description of the GPRS system and proposes a multicast scenario within the GPRS air interface. A multiparty application model is simulated to validate our scenario
