Abstract :
This paper uses Granger causality test to figure out the correlations between human capital and the adjustment of industrial structure with the empirical data of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei areas. The results show that the rising of human capital level has effectively promoted the adjustment and upgrade of industrial structure, while the adjustment of industrial structure is not the reason of the level of human capital raising. Based on this, we take panel data analysis on the effect of human capital of primary industry, secondary industry and tertiary industry in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei on the adjustment of industrial structure, which reveals differences affection of the level of human capital on the adjustment of industrial structure. The paper also makes an analysis on the reasons behind the facts and puts forward some proposals and countermeasures as well.
