Abstract
This paper studies management fashion´s dissemination in China by multiple-cases and bibliometric methods. The research shows that management fashion´s consumer structure is correlated with its dissemination curve. And the popular curve in recent China is close to a bell shape. Generally, Chinese scholars introduced management techniques into China as triggers and turn them into management fashions, which are characterized by high rationality in the early course of dissemination. Unlike Western countries, prevalent management fashions in China declined earlier and more rapidly. Though it is not inevitable that the management fashions in Western countries should become fashionable in China promptly, we must guard rushing into mass action and scholars must avoid blind introduction to promote the development of Chinese management knowledge.
