Abstract :
The breakthrough disruption under adverse circumstances in high voltage metalclad withdrawn switchgear had happened frequently because of its compact space size. In this paper, the dielectric properties of 12 kV high voltage metalclad withdrawn switchgear under three phase and impulse voltage excitation have been analyzed by calculating the electric field distribution. Through investigation, the measure for anti-break through disruption is proposed.
