Abstract :
We present our overall scheme about the integration of multiple data sources to benefit from the complementary types of available information and provide some implementation results. The main character of the paper is the map revision through analyzing the satellite data by cartographic semantics. Finding the difference between image and vector map, the new geographic features and the changed features are obtained. Depending on the results, the map is updated.
