Abstract :
Using safety of medical equipments is essential for patient safety and medical quality in hospital, up to now strategy of systematically quality control of medical equipments on the using safety has not been established. In this paper, we proposed six-dimension risk model for risk level evaluation quantitatively and established the quality control system to assure the using quality of medical equipments. After three years of application the quality control system, we increased the qualified rate of high risk medical equipments from 10% to 40% and saved the cumulative cost of medical equipments maintenance over seven millions RMB. The practice and the performance analysis confirmed the effectiveness of the quality control system.
