Abstract :
In this work we summarized thermal characteristics of YVO4 with comparative study of GdVO4 by using of carefully evaluated kappa, alpha, dn/dT, thermal heat capacity coefficient dCp/dT, and thermal conductivity coefficient dkappa/dT. In conclusion, we summarized thermo-mechanical and -optical parameters of GdVO4 and YVO4, and we found that the performance of YVO4 was thermally comparable to GdVO4 from the discussion by using of the figures of merits as kappa/alpha and kappa/(dn/dT).
