Abstract :
High-average-power solid-state lasers are important in many applications. In this work we present several methods to compensate for beam-quality degradation in rod based lasers, that can be combined to substantially enhance output beam-quality in a high-power master-oscillator-power-amplifier (MOPA) configuration.
