Abstract
This paper presents the design of a teleoperated mobile robot test bed developed at the Advanced Robotics and Teleoperation Lab., University of Alberta. A brief mechanical description is given, followed by presentation of a higher flexible workcell hardware structure utilising four distinct computational elements. The system software, written using TCL/TK and C, is presented along with an outline of the overall control algorithm. The operator´s graphical interface is also described
