Abstract :
Establishing "with enterprises as the mainstay, market-oriented and industry-university-collaborated technology innovation system" is an important issue in our national innovation system, while the cooperation between enterprises and university plays a critical part of it. Differences in the nature and targets of organizations, complexity of the industry-university cooperation process, as well as the uncertainty of the technology innovation itself have led to many failed cases. Risks of industry-university collaboration and innovation exist throughout the whole cooperative project from the very beginning to the very end. In this paper, we studied the various risks that exist in the process of industry-university collaboration and innovation, and designed the risk assessment index system of industry-university collaboration and innovation, using risk matrix and Monte Carlo simulation methods to determine the levels of the risks. This conclusion provides the basis for the prevention to fatal risks in the industry-university collaboration and innovation process.
