Abstract :
The application of magnetic bearing (EMB) in the suspension of nuclear power plant (NPP) turbomachine rotor is considered in the report. The main indices and turbomachine (TM) arrangement are given. The unique nature of turbomachine rotor characteristics is shown. The investigation problems for the project provision as for electromagnetic suspension are determined. The main results of investigations, performed at turbomachine rotor model and obtained at calculational investigations are considered. The purposes of the following investigations were determined.
